We had an enjoyable time. The tour was very well organized and had no issues. Alex was always in contact for questions before as well as during our trip. He also helped us to accommodate a last change request in our itinerary too. I would suggest that for the walking tour to the Sierra Negra volcano, Takiri highly advises that carrying at least 2 liters of water per person is needed. I booked an 8 day Galapagos tour through Takiri Travel and could not have made a better decision. Michael and the entire team had great communications leading up to the trip and even during the trip. Our itinerary was clearly spelled out and they stayed in communication daily to make sure everything was going smoothly. The accommodations they chose were beautiful and clean. Galapagos is not an easy place to navigate so I highly recommend using a trust agency like Takiri.

This was an amazing experience. Our guide Angel was wonderful, so nice and knowledgeable. A couple of pieces of advice. Bring hats and gloves and a rain jacket at a minimum. If you forget there’s a place to buy local warm gear for reasonable prices. We handled the altitude fine but not everyone does. It’s 16k feet so consider altitude meds (which you can get at a local pharmacy). The views and landscapes are worth the trip without a doubt.
